This window was completely stuck – cold weather often compounds this kind of issue.
We tend to notice draughts and sticking doors / locks more in winter as materials like uPVC and steel are affected by extremes of temperatures.
The mechanism of this window in Bingham had become completely jammed – looks like it had been sticking for a while and that in turn put extra strain on the mechanism which led to the mechanism kinking or bending to the point where it just seized.
We were able to fix this jammed window mechanism in just one visit as we had the parts in stock. One of the advantages of being a mobile locksmith and glazier is that we do carry many parts that we’ve pre-ordered. This makes repairs more efficient and therefore more economical for the customer.
