Locksmiths Newark: New Lock and Door Adjustment
It was kind of inevitable that this lock would fail but we can’t blame anybody for not realising the strain that the gearbox was under. The gearbox part of a lock handles the mechanical movement of the handle and key so when a door isn’t aligning properly it undergoes extra strain and will eventually fail.
In this case we adjusted the door to make sure it now closes without letting in draughts. The lock was fixed in one visit from parts we carry on the van.
We try to carry a broad range of stock to deal with most situations. On the rare occasions when a lock can’t be fixed in one visit, we’ll return as promptly as possible, having left your property secure.
Is there a locksmith near me in Newark? There certainly is. We’re mobile and we carry plenty of parts to fix your window or door locks there and then.
