Locksmith Newark: Yale Lock Fitted to a Patio Door

When you get patio doors fitted, the locks they come with aren’t always the best – get them changed when you can.

It’s understandable that door manufacturers want to keep costs down and this is especially true of older uPVC doors where the factory-fitted locks can be sub-standard. These sub-standard locks can compromise the security of your home.

In this case for a customer in Newark we installed a Yale 6-pin anti-snap lock.

Anti-snap locks stop burglars gaining quick access to your property as the lock mechanism remains intact when the cylinder is snapped by force.
